Hotel Palumbo is named Pasquale Palumbo in Ravello which opened in 1875, with his wife Elisabeth von Wartburg Bernese Oberland, this hotel.
Jessy Daughter of Pasquale Palumbo and Elisabeth, married Edwin Vuilleumier, and both continue the family tradition in the management of the Hotel Palumbo.
A gentleman of Swiss origin who spoke with the cadence of the gentleman from Naples, Pasquale Vuilleumier conquered the customers with its familiar ways and it’s simple and elegant style.

The rooms and suites of the Hotel Palumbo are all a game of vaulted ceilings, ancient white walls, corridors and niches with floors made of ancient Vietri majolica tiles. Each room has its own originality and is furnished with 17th and 18th century furniture belonging to the Vuilleumier family. Only 13 rooms beyond which the Hotel Palumbo would lose that character of particular residence, reserved for an elite clientele, as in the days of the founder. All rooms are equipped with linens and co-ordinates in linen and terry, satellite TV, free internet, safe and minibar.
